What we do

Prices, in public.

Nobody else in this industry publishes one. You should not have to sit through a discovery call to find out whether you can afford the answer.

Almost everything below is delivered remotely, so you are not paying for my airfare. The one exception is Ground Truth, which is two days on your site, optional, and priced right here like the rest of it. There is no version of any of this where I show up in a golf shirt to tell you about mindset.

The Business Physical

Two weeks. You send three years of P&Ls, the balance sheet, job costing exports and a payroll summary, plus a phone video of the shop and one morning load-out. I interview you, your ops lead and your office manager for forty-five minutes each. You get written findings on your own numbers and ninety minutes walking through them.

You leave holding your real overhead recovery rate, your true labor burden, margin by division, and a ranked list of what to fix first and what to leave alone.

$5,500 – $7,500By revenue and division count

Half the fee is credited toward a 90-Day Install booked within sixty days of the readout. And if the written findings do not identify at least the fee in annualized margin opportunity, the whole fee is credited toward any future engagement — you do not pay me to tell you nothing.

Ground Truth

Two days on your site. Morning load-out, crews in the field, the shop, the yard, and a long stretch at the estimating desk. I am not there to present anything — I am there to watch how the work actually moves, and to tell you afterward what the numbers could not.

A load-out that runs fifty minutes because the trailer is packed wrong. A foreman quietly carrying two crews. Twenty minutes a day lost to a gate nobody has a key for. None of that shows up in a P&L, and none of it shows up in a video you shot yourself.

The last few hours are with your people, not just with you. Finding the lever is the easy half; pulling it is a people problem, and a production rate never changes because the owner saw a chart.

$6,500As an add-on. $8,500 standalone. Travel included, no expense report.

Best booked after a Business Physical, when I already know which numbers I am trying to explain. Booked cold, the first day goes to learning what the second day should have been looking at.

The 90-Day Install

Twelve weekly working sessions where we build the thing, not talk about it: a labor burden model from your payroll, equipment hourly rates, an overhead recovery calculation, a job cost sheet your estimators will actually use, and a scorecard that fits on one page.

Fixed scope, fixed end date, real artifacts. When it is over, it is over.

$22,000 – $28,000Twelve weeks, remote

Crew Leader Academy

A live-online cohort for foremen and crew leaders. Six weeks, ninety minutes a week, run in the off-season when your people are actually available. Production rates, reading a job cost, running a morning, and holding a crew to a number.

$1,450 / seat$4,800 for four from one company

The toolkit

The overhead recovery worksheet and the job costing template, built for landscape companies rather than adapted from a generic business course. Same files I use inside an engagement.

$295 – $795Free to session attendees

By conversation

Two things are not priced on a page, because the fit matters more than the fee.

The BaseCourse Group

Ten non-competing owners. Monthly video sessions plus one in-person meeting a year, hosted at a member’s company. Confidentiality agreement, geographic rules, and a membership screen — because a peer group is only worth what the other nine people bring.

Fractional operations leadership

One half-day a week, six-month minimum, capped at two companies at a time. For owners who need someone in the seat while they build toward hiring one.
